B-Day in Motown. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes this morning determined the city of Detroit is officially eligible for Chapter 9 bankruptcy, and that the case “should not be dismissed…Certainly the court must conclude that the bankruptcy filing was a foregone conclusion, at least in 2013.”
